In the year 1964, Kenzo made a shift to Paris to kick-start his career in fashion. Kenzo became popular for his Japanese and Asian-influenced styles combined with the impeccable structuring of European couture fashion. Kenzo started his fashion journey with women’s clothing and added a men’s and kid’s clothing line later. Today, Kenzo is known as a global luxury fashion brand, which is owned by LVMH (parent company). It was purchased by LVMH in the year 1993.
